We’re very pleased to announce the release of our fourth generation Sportsync model the SR-404.
The SR-404 raises the bar even further with 60 seconds of delay.
SR-101
Our original model, produced many years ago now, was the SR-101. The SR-101 was a best-seller for Scanner Master but was retired and is no longer available. The SR-101 had an analog tuner that required users to hone in on the frequency of their favorite stations and it had only eight seconds of delay.
SR-202
Some time later we released the SR-202 which was our first with a digital PLL tuner. You simply scrolled to the frequency of your choice and reception was locked on. We also found over time that delays were getting extended beyond eight seconds so we upped the delay to 16 seconds.
SR-303
Back in 2015 we released the SR-303. It had improved audio and battery life as well as additional timer and alarm functions but still only 16 seconds of delay. The SR-303 was the same size and shape as the new 404, but the 303 only had 16 seconds of delay. That worked for most of our customers, but not quite all. Some customers experienced delays longer than 16 seconds when watching a game on TV and listening to their radios. So, working with our engineering partners, we developed the new 404 which provides up to a full minute of delay! Yes, we went from 16 to 60 seconds in this new version.
